7P7- Circuit Playground Express

Using Adafruit Cicuit Playground, the circuit, iPad, and my computer , I created a light show with music because I knew it was going to be challenging to make and it was and I'm proud of my work. 

During this process, I learned how to make a circuit light display that brings joy. It reminds me of a new years, or 4th of July party.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I made a cool light display and made a video with it and then put it on this site which is shared with the world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get the light to spin around the circuit . I was able to do it by looking at all the connectors and finding ones and trying them till I found the one I needed.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how advanced it would be I wanted it to be very cool but then it would've made it too challenging and I wanted to make a light show. The reason why I would change it is because it was kind of boring in a way but it was cool at the same time it was fun to listen to when it played music.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because it deals with programming a code to a different device and it has to do with coding too. I had to code a design and then program the circuit to have that design.
