Are you working by yourself or in a team?
Working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
Tinkercad, computer, 3D printer
What is your plan to create in this project?
I have ideas to go off of and then I will use the list of stuff above to figure out how to solve a problem
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will be something to solve a problem that someone might have.
Day1- I got all of my ideas down then I got my questions done.
Day2- I got down how to make holes in my projects and how to size it. Then I got started on one of my other projects.
Day3- I had the idea to make a skeleton holding a trash can but then I thought what if I made a dragon. A dragon doing what? I don't know yet I haven't thought about it.
Day4- Today I got an octopus and copied it so I could put it on the trash can that I can carry around. sea theme trash can.
Day5- Today I finished my first project and it's going to be a trash can with an octopus on it then I will glue the octopus where I want it.
Day6- Today I got my project done completly I add something to it to make it look good.
Using Tinkercad, iMovie, iPad and my website, I created a trash can with the theme of ocean because I want to help keep the trash off the roads and I'll have a tiny trash can in my backpack so I don't have to put in my side pocket.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I'm sharing all of my work with you on my website that is being shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was being bale to make a 3D print. I was able to do it by listening to my teacher and peers on how to do something specific. If I needed help I would just try to figure it out and if that didn't work then I had to ask a friend or look at videos on how to do it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made because I made something that isn't as good as the first thing I wanted to make. The reason why I would change it is because I'm totally capable of doing harder thing and the thing with me is if I set my mind to it and take the time off to do it I can manage to get it done.
