Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team? For this project I will be working alone.
What materials will you need for your project? iPad, Copyright-free images, and iMovie.
What is your plan to create in this project? To create a Movie of things that I love.
What unique qualities will your project have? The unique things that my project will have are unique things about me.
Daily Log:
Day 1- started looking for images for my video.
Day 2- I started to put the video together and add sound effects.
Day 3- I got the sound effects that I wanted to have in my video and added music.
Day 4- I got the voice added into the video and finished then I got it put into my site (here).
My Movie
My Movie.movUsing iPad, Copyright-free images, and iMovie, I created a video about things I love. Because my teacher wants me to show what I love and how much those things mean to me, and also for everybody to know a little bit about me.
During this process, I learned how to get pictures to iMovie and add sound effect to the movie, I learned how to add tittles to my pictures, and I learned how to download the movie to my computer from an iPad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I made a decision about how I made my movie and got it done.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to get certain picture downloaded. I was able to do it by Redownloading it and if that didn't work then tried a different way to get that picture.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I made the sound effects, and how long the video is. The reason why I would change it is because I don't want it to be super short and I would also change how I made my voice quite and sad.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Create video creatives because it wants me to make videos and thats what I did in my project.
