DAILY LOG

1.  I explored the stop motion website and started to get an idea of what to do

2.   I started to make my clay characters and i started filming

3.  I continued filming and adding to the project

4.  I improvised some of my clay figures and and got my pictures in the 200

5.   I used excess clay and working on making my character transform into something else

6. I used the left over clay and made a few more additions to my project

7.   I added some more pictures and got into the 500s

8.    I continued to construct and deconstruct my charactors

• Using clay an Ipad and a chair I created a stop motion clay monster chase because i have always liked monsters chasing other things in claymation.

• During this process, I learned Hoe fast and slow to move a clay character when taking pictures.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because i was able to design a original character and make it go thru changes throughout the movie.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making the clay person pick its head up . I was able to do it by adding suport to the head and the characters arms and head.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the order of the pictures in the movie . The reason why I would change it is because the order of the pictures got out of order somehow and i couldn't fix it but if i knew how to i would fix it.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in masonry.
