Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working in a team with Lacy and Madison
What materials will you need for your project?
cardboard
rocks
tape
plastic ( We ended up not using this. )
What is your plan to create in this project?
Robot
Fur suit
clothing rack
But we ended up making a baby machine
What unique qualities will your project have?
We are planning for it to push the babies out without help, like dominos.
day - 1 | We wrote out list of 25 things, I picked my partners lacy and Madison, and planned what to create.
day - 2 | We went over our expectations for our projects, and then we started up our project.
day - 3 | We continued assembling our cardboard we finished making the main body and now are working creating the holes and making the platforms.
Day - 4 | Madison deleted her google site, we had to help her (found out she didn't delete it). Then we started making the ramp to make the baby fall out.
Day - 5| Today we continued our project, made ramps and started making aluminum balls to push the babies out.
Day 6 |Today was the last day for the project. we finished up our insides and put aluminum foil on the outside.
Day 7 | Today I started on my questions and finished them, then I went over and helped my teammates with the last children.
Day 8 | I was not here so my teammates decorated the project ( instead of doing the video
Day 9 | We shot the video.
Using cardboard, tinfoil and tape, I created a baby machine because it seemed like something more difficult to make, because we would need to make ramps in a enclosed space and also make babies aswell.
During this process, I learned that finding the correct materials will take time and to have faith in your partners because they may have better ideas than you, and to also have faith in them because they may not have the idea mapped but they might know how to make the inside just right.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I am using what materials I have to further my idea for my design, like using tape instead of hot glue because tape makes our project have more stability and it doesn't peel as much.
A challenge I overcame on this project was listening to my teammates. I was able to do it by opening up my mind to their concerns and what they want because I was stubborn and thought we needed a plan for this when we really didn't.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the idea of using babies and I would also use less tape around the edges. The reason why I would change it is because The babies are hard to make and they are hard to push out of the cardboard box, and if you make them too big they wont come out of the box. I would change the use of tape around the edges because we could have just found a different less broken box.

My project connects to careers in Home building, Architecture, Carpentry and Communication ( because of the need to work in a group ).
