What is your plan to create in this project?
I plan to create stop-motion animation of clay food.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Our project will have clay molded into different types of food.
Day 1-
Day 2- started working on project and filmed the first part
Day 3- my partner created a stop motion animation and added it to imovie
Day 4- recorded more footage an added it to the rest of the project
day 5- took more pictures and added them to the rest of the project
Day 6- made even more creations and pictures
Day 7- created more videos and added them to iMovie
Day 8- added more stop motion videos to imovie
Day 9- added all of the stop motion together and finished video.
Using clay and iMotion, I created a stop-motion animation because I wanted to share my creativity with the world.
During this process, I learned how to create stop-motion using clay.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I shared my project on my website.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to correctly create stop-motion. I was able to do it by continuing to create more and more stop-motion until it got better.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change that my partner held the camera. The reason why I would change it is because the footage is shaky and slightly blurry.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in animation because we took many photos that it looked like the clay was animated.
