Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I'm working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
Tinkercad and the 3D printers
What is your plan to create in this project?
In this project I plan to create a 3D printed object that can solve a problem
What unique qualities will your project have?
my project will be completely unique because it is my original idea and nobody, to my knowledge, has made the same thing.
Using TinkerCad, I created an orignal 3D design because I wanted to create something that solves a problem.
During this process, I learned how to use TinkerCad and to create a 3D design.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I created my own designs.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make holes in my design. I was able to do it by continuing to try and make it work even though it didn't want to work.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design of the first project to make it more good looking and less big. The reason why I would change it is because I want to stay in the 3 by 3 size of the design and im not exactly sure if i went over the size limit or not.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Enginerring Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in design engineering because you spend lots of time in software applications to create original designs.
Day 1- Started coming up with ideas for my project.
Day- 2 I learned how to use the tools in TinkerCad.
Day 3- Started building design.
Day 4- finished up base design and started making it look better.
Day 5- refined design and finished up first project.
Day 6- Started on new project since I finished the last one.
Day 7- Surprisingly finished second project.
