It will have creatures moving on their own using a path.
Daily Log:
Day 1- came up with ideas for project.
Day 2- added cats and started working on their walk cycle.
Day 3- finished walk cycle and added more cats to fill up area.
Day 4- started new project because i didn't like how the first one was coming out.
Day 5- added more detail and started paths for the animals to swim on.
Day 6- Added more nature and animals and finally finished project.
Day 7- recorded and finished video.
Using CoSpaces. I created an underwater world with many hidden things for people to find because I wanted to make a beautiful but interesting experience for people who enter the world.
During this process, I learned how to move characters on a set path.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I used the resources provided to me to make my own creation.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make the animals move on their paths at the same time. I was able to do it by using the "move parallel block in coding to make two different animals move at the same time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that only two animals can move together at the same time and make it so all animals can move at the same time. The reason why I would change it is because without the animals moving all at the same time it looks ugly and robotic.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in extended reality specialist Beacuse I used a computer to create my project.
