7P1-Video

Daily Log:

• Using an iPad, copyright-free images, and iMovie, I created a video about things that I like because I wanted to share my interests with other people so that they could learn more about me.

• During this process, I learned how to find non-copyright images, how to record audio using iMovie and add it to the video, and I learned how to add my finished video to my website.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I spoke and expressed myself clearly through the video using useful resources.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was creating the voiceover because it was hard to speak up in a room full of other people. I was able to do it by speaking loudly and clearly on the iPad.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the pictures to find a bit more accurate photos of things that I own and like. The reason why I would change it is because the photos aren't exactly what I hoped to find while looking for pictures to add to my video.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Create video Creatives because it wants you to make videos which is what I did in the project.
