What materials will you need for your project?
I will need an iPad and a Sphero Bolt.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create some obstacles with so that the Sphero Bolt can get through.
What unique qualities will your project have?
I don't think someone has made an obstacle course so I might do that.
Day 1:
I started on my website page and then I will start figuring out the Sphero Bolt steps.
Day 2:
I did some coding and tried to make it go around in a square.
Day 3:
I made one of my videos and then started on new code for the Sphero Bolt to go around an obstacle.
Day 4:
I made code that makes it go around I tried to make it do like a hexagon with more sides and I also had slight different speeds.
I made my last video and I will now start on my reflections.
Using Sphero Bolt and an iPad, I created code for the robot to follow because I thought it would be cool.
During this process, I learned The different functions of the Sphero Bolt and how to work some of its code.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I created the code for the Sphero Bolt and made it do what I wanted it to.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out how to do some of the things. I was able to do it by just doing basic things for it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the things that the robot did. The reason why I would change it is because it felt pretty basic and bland.

My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
