I am working in a team of 3.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need Hotwheels tracks, iPad, Hotwheels cars, and a computer.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create a unique track.

What unique qualities will your project have?

We will do some ideas that other people haven't done yet with the tracks.

Day 1:

I started my website.

Day 2:

We started working on the track.

We did multiple different tracks today which were the banana track and the double road.

We did some more tracks.

Day 5:

I finished my website and am now ready to turn in.

Using Hotwheels and Hotwheels track, I created multiple different tracks for the Hotwheels because Hotwheels tracks and cars are fun to play with .
During this process, I learned how to put tracks together and some different track things.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because we decided what to make with the tracks .
A challenge I overcame in this project was figuring out the right angles and stuff to make the car go as fast and as far as we wanted. I was able to do it by having multiple test runs and adjusting if it didn't go right.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the length of the tracks. The reason why I would change it is because I do think the tracks were a little short .
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in road construction because some construction workers build roads and we pretty much built the road.
