I am working with one other person.

What materials will you need for your project?

tools, a monitor, and an iPad.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to think of something good to make out of the broken monitor

What unique qualities will your project have?

It will be a different process or design than some others.

Day 1:

I made my website, I did my planning questions, and

Day 2:

we pretty much have almost all of the monitor taken apart, to start building the thing we want to make.

Day 3:

I came very late and my partner decided to start making glasses.

Day 4:

Wasn't here but my partner finished the glasses.

Using an old monitor, I created glasses because my partner decided to make glasses.
During this process, I learned not much cause I wasn't there but I learned how to take apart a monitor.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because we picked what to build.
A challenge I overcame on this project was some tricky parts of taking apart the monitor.. I was able to do it by asking for help from someone.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change maybe the looks of the glasses. The reason why I would change it is because it doesn't look that great.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in engineering because I took something apart and then I used engineering to make something else.
