Are you working by yourself or in a team?
For this project I am working by myself. This project is a solo one and I don't work with anyone else. I can ask others for help with a function on CoSpaces but we cannot work together on this project.
What materials will you need for your project?
The materials I need and used for this project were Imovie and CoSpaces. I used Imovie to make my video by downloading it to Imovie and adding a voice over and then putting it on my site. I used CoSpaces to make my story with augmented reality in it.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to create the grinch stealing someone's presents and then frosty the snowman comes and he gets the presents back to the kid. I start with planning out what my scenes will be for all six of them. I then start making it and add adjustments if I think it will be better with it.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Some of the unique qualities of my story will be that it is something new I haven't yet to hear a story about. Another unqiue quality will be that frosty and the grinch have a fight which I have never seen yet so it's unqiue. And my last unique qualities are that the grinch's lair was the colosseum and frosty doesn't need snow in an area to be there and frosty doesn't melt.

I started the first part of my website and listed ten good ideas
Day 2
I started making the grinch outside of a house and there is a kid sleeping in the house and the grinch is going to steal the presents.
Day 3
I added more the story and made frosty and the grinch in a colosseum.
Day 4
I finished five scenes and I am looking forward to finishing the project next day

I added more to my page on augmented reality and I made the first part of my video

I finished my video and then needed to do my voice over.

Using Cospaces, I created 6 scenes to put on a merge cube of the grinch, frosty, and a kid getting his presents getting stolen. I made this because I found it interesting and I wanted to do a story I have yet to hear of. I thought of it by just thinking of random stuff.
During this process, I learned how to use a little bit of CoSpaces and how some of it works. I learned it by just testing parts of it and asking for help from others.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I made up what the story was going to be about.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to lock stuff, rotate, change the color of the cube, and figuring out how to make the things I put not go through the cube. I was able to do it by focusing and messing around with some of the things. And I had friends to help me if I really needed it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the things around the house and the grinch's lair because there is nothing around it. The reason why I would change it is because so it gives it a more Christmas look. It will also make it have a better feel and just feel like it's Christmas time instead of just snow because it doesn't give a Christmas feel.

My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in game development. It also connects to manufacturing equipment and programming content. Some things that involve augmented reality are, gaming education, some apps, and some stuff that is digital.
