8P2-laser cutting

Using a laser cutter , I created a square with one side California and the other Michigan because they are the states that I've lived in. also using tinker CAD I made my design. it was supposed to be a costar but I did not get a piece of wood to do it on.

During this process, I learned how to cut out a square with a laser cuter. I also learned how to use the laser cuter. the last thing that i learned was how to make a square outline.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learned because I picked how I wanted the states to look. it also ties to empowered learner because I picked what I wanted to make.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what to do . I was able to do it by looking online. I was also able to do it by thinking about want i did last year.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size. The reason why I would change it is because it was to small. I would also change the shape.
