7P2- Coding

Using code.org, I created a dance party because i could not think of anything else to make. Another thing i used was my computer. Another reason i made this is because i thought it would be fun and it was so i did not give up and i kept working on it.

During this process, I learned how to code. I also learned how to make the characters do dance moves. The last thing i learned is how to make the characters follow the main character.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I made decisions on my project. Another reason i picked Empowered learner because i got to make it do things how i wanted to by programming it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out what to make. I was able to do it by exploring the different things i could make. Another way i overcame this challenge was looking at the internet to see what i could make.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the characters. The reason why I would change it is because i would not have the same characters. Another reason i would change the characters is because i did not fully like them.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Computer Systems Engineer.
