Using an iPad and robots, I made the robots do different things because they were challenges. me and my partner made one robot named dash throw a tire and roll. Another robot that we programed named iRobot spell the word THE. Another one we programed named bolt made a party bomb and counted down from 3. The last one we made was Sphero mini we made it make a square and a rectangle.
During this process, I learned how to program. I learned this by programing the robot to do the challenges. Another thing I learned was how carful you have to be when working with robots.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Global Collaborator, because I uploaded all my code and videos to my website. Another reason my project connects to Global Collaborator is that my website is public to anyone so it is global.
A challenge I overcame on this project was sometimes the programing does not work. I was able to do it by remaking the program over and over. Another way i overcame the challenge was that I added things to the code.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made the robots do. The reason why I would change it is because they were challenges so i could not change them before. Another reason i would change them because i would want to mess around with is and see what i can do.
