Are you working by yourself or in a team? myself
What materials will you need for your project? cardboard, string, toothpick, and the cardboard cutters
What is your plan to create in this project? use string and cardboard to make something
What unique qualities will your project have? it will have a moving part
day 1 part of 25 things and started making the design
day 2 started building and got the string attached
day 3 made the fold go up
day 4 finnished 25 things and project
Using cardboard and box cutters, I created a garage that has a open and closing door because i wanted to make something that had movment.
During this process, I learned how to make a pully thing with a toothpick
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because i am publishing this to show to the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the string to not just pull strait and pull up. I was able to do it by using a toothpick and stabing it into cardboard then taping it to the top of the box and put the string through it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big the project is. The reason why I would change it is because if it was bigger it could hold a robot better.
