• Using scratch, I created a coding video because I had been wanting to try this for a long time and now I finally get to use it.

• During this process, I learned that scratch is a pain in the neck to use sometimes.But when you don't know what to do and how to do it,it's a challenge.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to a creative communicator because I communicate my thoughts and ideas through a creative but interesting way.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the video just right. I was able to do it by changing the coding a little bit at a time then replaying the video and I did it over and over again until I got it just the way I wanted it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change not watching the how to videos. The reason why I would change it is because had I watched them I would have known what to do and not have to try to find out on my own.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in multimedia artists because people who work in this area of expertise have to deal with computers just like I had to when I was programming my coding project.
