Reflection

• Using IMovie, an iPad , internet images, and a microphone I created a movie about the best Gatorade flavor out there in my opinion( the blue Gatorade) because this is my favorite flavor and I think people should know why this flavor is superior over all others. I inserted images into my video with sub titles which tell the watcher all the facts they would need to know on why it could be the best flavor.  The facts would show that people chose this flavor over any, and facts about it on why it is actually the best flavor of Gatorade. It gives accurate and true facts about the Gatorade flavor .

• During this process, I learned how to use IMovie correctly and successfully being able to put images and sound tracks/ noise in my video, how to change noise volume. During learning this I then was able to have my video project more fun and or better sounding for my viewers who will watch the video. This also helped the transition's through photos more smoothly.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Knowledge Constructor to because I researched how this Gatorade flavor was better then others but searching on the internet finding information on how this flavor is  actually better, this connects with knowledge constuctor as they are people who efficiently research a project and to find information on a project . It also ties to Empowered Learner as this project helps me learn how to use IMovie in a creative and good way to boost my knowledge of online tools, as well as because i set goals each day for my self to complete this I Movie project to my ability.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to put good sounding noise in the background of my video  . I was able to do it by communicating with my peers about how they have done this, as changing the volume and lowering the sound I was able fix my problem along with being able to move sounds and sound affects around yo make it more smooth and better sounding.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the slide photos,speed,text . The reason why I would change it is because it would more smooth and easier to watch as well as make it better over all and make is so who ever watches it will learn more by being able to read and think about the facts to maybe change their mind about why blue Gatorade is the best flavor.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in script writing as it connects to my project as I use varies different texts ideas to sustain the viewers interests and to make them want to learn more.
