I'll be working working in a team of two with my friend Chloe.
What materials will you need for your project?
we will need a cricket and vinal paper, and a computer to program and make the design.
What is your plan to create in this project?
i plan on making a vinal for my mom on a coffee cup with a cricket maker.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project will be unique because it’s a handmade vinyl heart for my mom, designed with love and made just for her using the Cricut Maker.

we logged in to the computer and started to deign the first idea which was a Christmas vinal for my mom but then we could not get that to work so we used a more simple vinal degin, a heart.

on day 2 we started to pick out the vinal and what color we wanted to use.

day 3 we could not figure out how to use the chriket and had to aske for help. A friend helped us figure it out and so we spent the day trying to work the machine.,

on day 4 we had to to make the vinal fit the length and width, because it was to big for the length we were using.

on day 5 we finally finished the projects and started working on the website. We also put together the vinal not the coffee mug.

Using a Cricut maker, I created A vinal heart for my mom because she needed a new deign on her coffee cup Because it was fading.
During this process, I learned how to use the Cricut Maker to design, cut, and apply vinyl carefully.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovation and design because I used creativity and design tools to make something original and meaningful.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the vinal to stick perfectly on the mat with out air bubbles and to line up perfectly. I was able to do it by taking my time and doing it smoothly.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the color and the design I would figure out how to put more layers. The reason why I would change it is because it just a plan old heart.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to computer prgraming. CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in crafting and design because both use creativity and digital tools to design and produce custom products.
