• Using a tello drone and the "drone blacks" app, I created a somewhat complex code for my drone to follow. because I had never used the drones before and was interested to learn how to use them.
• During this process, I learned how to code the drone and connect it correctly. This learning was important because before, I was confused and couldn't work it so i did not think I was going to be able to do the drones. I then found out that you had to load the app before connecting to the drone.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer, because I learned how to use new technology and adapted to it in about 2 hours. Global Collaborator because I learned new things that I can use in the future.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was I could not figure out how to connect my drone. I was able to do it by loading it while being connected to the schools WIFI and then once the app was loaded, I connected to my drone. Given a chance to do this again, I would change my code and make it more complex AND FUN to watch The reason why I would change it is because I would want to keep my viewers entertained.
• This project connect to carriers in videography and engineering. Because, I can fly the drone and take pictures and videos and I also know how to code not only a drone but robots.
