My 50 possible problems
I created a cereal bowl. It says "cereal". I had to take a cylinder and get the general shape of the bole. Then i added a hole in the middle so I can eat cereal out of it. And lastly i added and shaped the word "cereal" and grouped the whole thing. I learned how to put a whole in an object and successfully attach words to it. I also learned that you have to group the whole thing for it to print right. A few standards my project tied to were, Empowered Learner: I had to brainstorm ideas for my project and then choose one and create it. Creative communicator- we discussed and brainstormed ideas and then made original ideas and projects and we helped each other. Innovative Designer- the project we made will be used to solve one of the 50 problems we thought of. Global Collaborator: we used technology and digital tools to create our project. Something I would do different next time is, make my bowl deeper because now it is not deep enough to actually eat cereal out of. Something I had to overcame is making a hole. In the beginning I didn't know how I was going to make a hole but I obviously knew I needed to. I overcame this by asking my peers for some help and advice. After asking for help, I was able to put a hole in my bowl. I can use the skills I learned in doing this project to maybe become a engineer or architect. As an engineer I would 3d print things to make bigger things and as an architect i would us my skills in sizing the item and getting the dimensions. i can now put holes in things and size them correctly and that would be helpful in making for example a blue print.
