P12- Wrap-up video

• Using iMovie on a classroom iPad, I created a wrap-up video of everything I did in this class. I created this because Mr. Renner asked us to summarize what we did in a creative way. I chose to put pictures and videos together and make a video.
• During this process, I learned how to use the iMovie app. I learned how to add sounds and edit the sounds. Also, I learned how to add words to my pictures and videos.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer. I say this because I leveraged my knowledge and used the iPad and Imovie app.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the sounds right. I wanted the videos with sound too be louder than the music but the music still audible. I was able to do it by having two different sounds attached and editing them to make it quiet at some points and loud at others.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the contents of the video. I wish that I would have taken more pictures throughout the year and more fun little videos. The reason why I would change it is because it is fun memories to look back at.
• This project connect to careers in video designing. I could take pictures and videos at weddings or events. I could then take the images and videos and make a collage type video like I did here.
