Using tinker cad and pictures off google I created a very detailed 3D printed tabletop basketball hoop.
because I haven't seen anyone make a super detailed 3D printed basketball hoop which gave me the idea of this creation.
During this process, I learned that patients is really key for good detail.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used a search engine to find pictures of basket balls and a hoop to design them in tinker cad.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting everything to line up and look right I over came this by lining it up on a center line.
Given a chance to do this again, I would make the hoop and supports thicker. The reason why I would do it is because they broke because they were too thin.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.
