final design, I added drive train.
this is the break down of the design, showing all of the parts. The van is another creators thing as well as the wheels but I added the centers to put holes in them so the shaft can connect to the wheels. The block will be cut out with all of those cut outs to add more of a detailed look to the underside and so I could put a drive train in it.
Using tinker cad and a 3D printer, I created a Monster van.
because I have never made anything like it before.
During this process, I learned how to design a frame and axles in tinker cad.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I used a search engine to search up ideas of axle designs.
A challenge I overcame on this project was just figuring out where to start on it. I was able to do it by just doing it and it soon came together.
Given a chance to do this again, I would have made sure the front axle was on the bed enough. The reason why I would change this is because it didn't print correctly.
