8p4-3D print

Using tinker cad and a 3D printer, I created some custom guitar picks.

because I have never made or tried making a guitar pick with a 3D printer which gave me the idea.

During this process, I learned how to design custom guitar picks.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I searched up the average sizes of a guitar pick to make these the right size.

A challenge I overcame on this project was the 3D printer didn't like some of the designs which I tried a few things to fix and make them print but they didn't print which I just deleted them and went with the ones that did work.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design/shape of some of the guitar picks. The reason why I would change this is because it would make it a lot cooler looking.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the  Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Engineering, Architecture, and Robotics but mainly Engineering.
