Mikayla Wright joined the Office of Student Engagement team at Hastings College in the fall of 2022! For as long as she could remember, she has had a love of getting involved in her community and school. This followed her to her time at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she started getting involved with student groups her first semester of college. By the time she graduated, she had become a member of the largest sorority in the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), served on the governing council of all NPC chapters, led the student ran programming board that plans new and innovative ways to program for students, advocated for students interest and provided impactful contributions for the student body through Student Government and even created her own club that became the largest non-Greek affiliated organization on campus.

Her college experience not only developed her passion for event planning and creative marketing, but taught her the importance of engaging with each other and the community outside of the classroom. One of the most influential people during her undergrad was the Director of Student Involvement. She is thrilled to be working in a similar role and have the opportunity to impact the Hastings community and help share the student experience.
