Student Groups

As a student at Hastings, you have the unique opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities. There are three types of student groups at Hastings College. If you still can’t find your niche after exploring the many student groups, we encourage you to pursue your own interests and start something new.

Campus Events

We provide students with traditional and new events for students to create meaningful relationships, explore interests and develop a sense of self and appreciation for their community. These will immerse you into the Hastings College campus culture and help set the stage for a successful college experience.

Student Association

The Student Association (SA) represents the student population by enacting positive change on campus and planning activities and events to promote the academic, social, cultural and spiritual life of campus through their Executive Cabinet, Programming Board and Senate. Explore to learn more and apply!

Campus Connect Desk

In the Hazelrigg Student Union, you are welcomed by the Campus Connect Desk. This desk is staffed with student workers who help provide extra support, office supplies and general campus information. This is also where the campus Lost & Found is located and events ticketing takes place.

Bronco Bikes

The Bronco Bike is a student-run program, overseen by the Student Activities Coordinator, that provides bicycles to students on a semester-rental basis and assists students with the maintenance and upkeep of bicycles through a free tune-up program. Click above to learn about the bike rental process!

Event Planning

Events are an essential part of the college experience and help make each day a "great day to be a Bronco!" There are many steps to hosting a successful event and there are several requirements to be aware of before planning can begin. Please review the event planning processes and resources below.

Hastings College is a vibrant hub of activity for students to connect with each other or take a break and recharge. Whether you like to play in the band, compete on an athletic team, participate in an organization, volunteer on a service learning project, attend campus events or cheer on your fellow Broncos, there’s always something to do! Get involved with something you love or branch out with something new.
