Erica Sokol joined the office of Student Engagement team at Hastings College in the summer of 2025! Before joining the campus community, Erica has had a dynamic career in hospitality. From greeting hotel guests, to sailing the high seas on cruise lines, creating magic at Walt Disney World, and bringing high energy to the casino floor, she loves being part of vibrant, enthusiastic environments. And her favorite part? Creating unforgettable moments for others. With a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a heart full of service, she recognizes the importance of cultivating core memories. She understands that meaningful student engagement starts with listening and knows firsthand just how hard it can be to find your people, confidence, and/or your voice. Erica is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where every student feels supported, valued, and empowered. 

She feels honored to be a part of the fun, turning any idea into a great experience, all while connecting with the Hastings community. She is here to help students grow– socially, emotionally, and as leaders. But what makes her work truly special is that she is there to grow right alongside them. Each student interaction, every challenge, and every success shapes her just as much as she helps shape them. Erica brings a wealth of guest service experience and passion to her role as the Hastings College Campus Activities Coordinator. She leads with empathy, heart, and a genuine commitment to student growth.
