To borrow materials from Perkins Library, all you need is your campus ID.

Although fines are not accrued for late items, we encourage you to respect the due dates so your peers may also borrow those titles.

You are responsible for any items checked out to your account that become damaged, lost, or unreturned; replacement fees may apply.

1. Open the Online Catalog

2. Select Sign In

3. Sign in or reset your password - use the 14-digit number on your ID

4. Once signed in, click on your name

5. Select My Account

6. Select and renew your items

Study or relax on the comfy chairs in the lounge area or outside on the patio when the weather is nice.

1. Connect to HC Wi-Fi and login with your HC credentials

2. Open your document and select the Print option

3. Choose Student_Queue or Student_Queue_Color

4. Fob into the printer and release your prints

Students have a printing allotment of $30 per year. 

Employee printing is charged to the department's budget.

The large format printer is located on the first floor that may be used for individual or class projects.  A 48 hour notice is preferred for prints and all prints must be for academic purposes (will be charged back to the respective individual or department).

To submit a document for large format printing:

1. Save the document as a PDF

2. Email the document to hclibrary@hastings.edu

3. Provide the size of the poster and a deadline date

4. Library staff will contact you for additional details if needed and again once the document is printed

Popular poster sizes and their respective costs:

36x48 $7.00

The maximum width of a poster is 36" and the length is unlimited.

There are two computer labs located on the first floor.

Log in using your HC credentials.

Color printing is available.

Need to connect to one of the Library's databases but currently away from campus?  No worries!

Simply open the database you'd like to use and log in using your HC credentials when prompted.

Note: this is your Hastings College email address before the @ sign.

The library has a limited variety of office supplies available for students to use on class-related projects:

• Crayons & colored pencils

Supplies must be used in the library.

The library has a snack vending machine available near the entrance.

Outside food and drink are also welcome.
