Though faders can be moved and channgels can be muted at anytime, channels have to be selected in order to make changes to gain, HPF, Gate, Compression, and EQ. Channels can also be further changed using the touch screen selections.
If the faders are yellow, you are on monitors. If they are blue, you are on effects.
To start over or use a previous template you will need to navigate to Show on the touch screen. Make sure the current scene is saved. To do that click save, name it if it doesn't have a name, select the main folder if you don't see any other scenes (to select you push down on the knob near the touch screen), then touch Save, and ovewrite, if necessary. To load, you click load and use the selected to choose the scene. Default brings it back to the way the board was at the beginning. Open Stage will give you some preset channels.
To adjust monitors: see the row of mx1 through mx14 above the faders starting at the left of the board. Each of those represent each monitor channel. There are normally 4 monitor channels set up (1-4). You can tell which monitor is which by checking the cord plugged into the monitor. It should have a number. When you select MX1-MX4 you will see yellow faders and you can adjust each channel individually from there. You will need to do that for each monitor. Click the MX that is highlighted to exit back to the main section.
FX are similar and to the right of the MX buttons. You will also see flashing lights above the 4 FX channels. Those are for the FX delays and represent the speed of the delay. Follow the same steps as above for MX channels to make changes to FX. FX will make the faders blue. Please see the guide on the sound board if you want to change the type of effects.
See the fader groups to the right of most of the faders. "A" is mostly the stage box. "B" Will have things directly going into the board, such as music or the DVD player. "C" has the mains for the monitor and effect buses. This might be a good place to go and mute or turn down if you get feedback (turn down or mute each of the monitors). Don't worry about "D".
To name a channel, select it. Click the inputs button on the touch screen. Select the name, change it, and apply it.
