1st Thing:
🍁Complete the "DS Organization" assignment from Classroom Week 4.
🍃Watch this film from the DS site: "How To" tab > "iMovie" page > "Name a Project; Import, & Delete Media" film.  
🌿Make any Student Choice. During this time, I will grade posters & print them in color. Listen for your name!

2: Audience Rows: participate in a demo of iMovie. Ask questions about the Mini Me Show project.
3: Begin the Mini Me Show project.

Sept. 17th

1st Thing:

⚽ Check your Participation grade in PowerSchool (iMac or CB). The comment has scores that go in rubric-area order.
🎾Go to Drive. Add a folder  called "DS '25-'26." Need help? Watch this film.

⛳Finish the poster (Week 3).

2: Redo your vodcast, if needed. I will draw name sticks to choose recording order and locations.
When/if your vodcast has been submitted, return to 1st thing tasks.
3: Participate in a demo of the "DS f/Me!" poster project + Photo Booth backgrounds.
Return to your seats & make your poster. Once you have submitted it, I will check & print it.

Prepare for your vodcast pretest: choose a topic, open Photo Booth, make an audio choice.
3: Participate in Silent Studio to begin the vodcast pretest. 
When you are not vodcasting, make an audio choice (headset needed) while you do a Student Choice or work for another class.

Then, make Student Choice #2, #3, #12, #13, or #20.

2: NEW fire drill procedure!
3: DS puzzle, phase 2: work with a partner (random name stick selection).
Use a ✏️, the DS site & the DS lab (rm. 233).
4: Puzzle, phase 3: work with half the class to solve all teammates' puzzles completely/correctly
5: Audience Rows: We will check your puzzle & see a demo of Photo Booth (selfies; video for pretest)
6: DS Game: "Show, Tell, or Draw"

HW: Exit Ticket, Name Tile, or signed Lab Agreement (for those who still owe these assignments)

Browse the DS Gallery ("browse" means to pick something that interests you & look around

2: "Welcome to DS" slide deck- we'll begin with slide #7. I will demo how to complete the DS puzzle.
3: DS puzzle, phase 1: "Silent & Independent" Use a ✏️, the DS site & the DS lab (rm. 233).
4: ?⏰? DS Game: "Spinning Portaportal"

HW: Exit Ticket (Classroom, week 1) DUE: Sept. 4th @9:00

Aug. 28th
(There is no school Friday or Monday: Labor Day weekend. Tuesday, Sept. 2nd is a blue day.)

1st Things: do these things in order
-put your signed lab agreement on my desk (purple sheet)
-finish steps #2 & #3 from the Welcome task card
-continue to task #4: the directions, index cards, & colored pencils are on the table
-if you finish ALL of the above, go to the homepage and browse the "DS Portaportal" browse list of sites

2:  Audience Rows: Learn more about DS procedures & KGC guidelines(slide #9). I will demo the Name Tile.

3: Continue your task card:

4:  Finish the "Welcome to DS" slide deck: test your knowledge in a Think, Pair, Share activities throughout the presentation.
