Here we are, nearing the end of September! I have seen both students and teachers working really hard, and I appreciate that! Keep up the good work! 

A few reminders:

If you want to take personal days BEFORE or AFTER a holiday, you must come and speak with me about the absence BEFORE entering it into AESOP. This type of leave is not recommended by the district and is approved at the principal's discretion on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions, please feel free to ask. You may also refer to the email sent by the HR department on 8/25 and my follow-up email on 8/26.

Please make sure you are signing in and out each day on Checkmate. This is part of our safety plan for the district. If you need any assistance, please see Mercedes.

Hey team! Alli and I have been working hard to get into every classroom and complete our first round of walkthroughs. We are seeing some awesome stuff! • All K-3 teachers, send home the AMIRA Parent Report with students on Friday, September 25th 

• Culture of the Contact Log - Please remember to place all parent communication in the Contact Log inside of Infinite Campus. This is helpful to you and us! 😁

• Vote for October's TOTM & SMOM here by Friday, September 25th

• Advertise the Curriculum Tailgate and Movie Night for Friday, October 23rd at Chestatee High School

• Bruster's Spreadsheet - Money is due the Wednesday before. Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Feb. 12, Mar. 12, Apr. 16, May 14 

• K-5 Curriculum Tailgate on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:00-7:00 PM. 

• Each grade level will provide a designated tent/table set up on the track surrounding the field.

• Tent/table locations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for setup.

• Parents will sign in and visit grade-level tables to receive information and resources.

Please submit your materials request and intended purchases no later than September 25, 2026, to ensure adequate time for ordering and preparation.
