News from the Front Office
Warrior Families,
It has been an exciting start to the school year! We've really enjoyed seeing all of our Warriors and settling into the routines of learning together every day. We are very thankful to our staff and parents for going above and beyond to keep our students safe and champion their success here at CMCSI. Our Warrior Families have been so supportive during this time and we are truly appreciative of your patience and flexibility as we are working together to navigate what continues to be our "new normal". At CMCSI, our goals are to continuously grow our students in learning and character. We are continuing to implement our Warrior Way and celebrate our students every chance we get. As always, we welcome your feedback and questions, so feel free to reach out if you need anything. We are looking forward to some cooler days as fall quickly approaches!

Volunteers are invited into the building between 9:00 AM-1:00 PM only daily .
Volunteers must sign-in at the front office with ID and wear a badge while in the building.
Volunteers should pick up items/ work from the teachers and then find an empty classroom or conference room to work in. The YMCA/ PTO Room is also available. Volunteers may not stay in classrooms with students present to work.
Volunteers may not go to lunch, eat with their students, or visit the cafeteria during lunch times.
Volunteers must follow the required COVID safety procedures in effect at CMCSI, which are subject to change (i.e. wearing a mask, etc.).
Volunteers should not visit CMCSI if they feel unwell, have a fever, have a new loss of taste/smell or exhibit other symptoms of COVID-19.

Character Education
Each month at CMCSI, homeroom classes will promote positive character by using a program called Core Essentials. With Core Essentials, students learn a variety of character words in addition to character words that go along with our school's Warrior Way. One student per homeroom will be recognized for demonstrating the character trait that was the month's focus. In addition to learning about the character word, students will also learn about community influencer who has demonstrated this trait. This month's character word is Initiative. Students are learning that initiative means "seeing what needs to be done and doing it." Tyler Perry will be this month's influencer for demonstrating initiative. Parents can access the Parent Character Resources to reinforce positive character at home by clicking here. The Spanish version is also available here.
Cafeteria Information
- All Hall County students will receive meals (both breakfast and lunch) at no cost this year. A la carte (individual) items or milk may incur charges.
- Students may pick up breakfast on the way to their classroom each day.
- Breakfast and Lunch Menus are available and can be accessed by clicking on the link below.
Car Rider Reminders
For morning drop-off, please have your student gather belongings, mask, water bottle, etc. so he/she is prepared to exit the car quickly with all belongings prepared when your car arrives at the sidewalk for drop-off.
Please remain in your car when unloading AND loading students. If you need to buckle students into car seats, please pull into the parking lot, as you exit the loading area.
ID will be checked and required without a Car Rider tag. This delays loading for ALL students, and you may be asked to pull into the parking lot (after sitting through the line). If you need a car rider tag replaced, please email CMCSI@hallco.org. A new car rider tag will be sent home with your child when it's ready.
Please have students load/ unload from the PASSENGER SIDE. This saves time and is safer than having students cross between cars.
COVID-19 Protocol Updates
Please remember to keep your child at home if you are awaiting COVID test results. Students with pending COVID tests can be moved to Remote Learning and complete their school work from home. These students are not counted absent if their work is completed. Please email Nurse Shaunda with questions.
Please remember to notify your child's teacher, the front office or Nurse Shaunda if your child is feeling sick, has symptoms of COVID19 or receives COVID19 test results.
Hall County Schools recently updated COVID19 Quarantine Protocols. See updates here
Find more COVID information at Reconnect Hall 2021 here.
We are reinforcing our safety measures with students at CMCSI daily: Social Distancing, Frequent Hand Washing/ Sanitizing & Wearing a Mask (while required at CMCSI). Please help us by reminding your students of these guidelines.
