Spirit Week
Students and staff members had a great time dressing up for each day's theme this week!
Homecoming Parade
Students are encouraged to bring in new socks, gloves, and hats. Donations will be turned in to first period teachers and will be collected each Friday by an IB student. The 1st period class with the most donations will receive donuts. Dr. Robison's class is currently in the lead.
Classroom Corner
Psychology
Mrs. Henman’s Psychology classes measured changes in heart rate: starting with a base or resting heart rate, after reliving a stressful event, and again after practicing deep breathing. They saw how the sympathetic (ramps you up) and parasympathetic (calms you down) portions of the autonomic nervous system both impact our bodies.
Reminders
All student are expected to wear their ID badges . Students who need a replacement ID badge may purchase one for $5 in the Media Center.
All students are expected to arrive on time to each class. Now that students are familiar with their schedules and classrooms, tardy accountability measures are in place.
Students are welcomed into the building beginning at 7:30 each morning. Until this time, the exterior doors are locked. Please plan accordingly if you are a car rider in the mornings.
Car riders should only be picked up at the front of the school in the afternoons. Please do not enter any other parking lots to pick up students.
