Review on Megatron 2

Babytrons’ Megatron 2 serves as a cautionary tale for any artist to pay very careful attention to. The term “quality over quantity” seems to be one such phrase that slipped the mind of the Prince of the Mitten. Where albums such as 3-Peat and Super Saiyan fully show off Baytrons clever lyricism, range, and ability to perform at his best on faster tempos, Megatron 2 utilizes near identical flows throughout. The only variable on the album seems to be the copy and paste beats that back every mediocre track. Some notably horrible entries, such as Stutter Flow and Yo Mama are laughably bad, but not to the point of being actually comical. Being as heavily bloated as this album is, making your way through its grueling twenty-eight song gauntlet will leave you praying for young Tron to make a return. As a Babytron fan myself, I truly hope the reception he has received from this album forces him to step outside of his comfort zone, and back onto songs like Spirit Bomb and Game Breaker, where he noticeably thrives
