Spring is the season which marks the end of the cold, unforgiving winter, marking the end of many people's seasonal depression. We wanted to find out how Hackettstown students spent their Spring Season, and sent out a survey asking about their break plans, favorite spring activity, and favorite spring flower. Let's take a look at how some of our students are spending their spring break.
Most of the students who responded to the survey stated that they were going on vacation . 20% responded that they will be visiting family and friends, and another 20% responded that they will be staying at home for spring break. Only 10% responded that they will be focusing on extracurricular activities during spring break.
The question based on the best spring activity received a variety of responses. 22.2% of those surveyed claimed hiking was the best spring activity. Another 22.2% claimed that gardening was the best spring activity, and similar numbers were received for sports, and biking.
80% of the survey respondents agreed that tulips are the best spring flower, while the remaining 20% claimed that daffodils and sunflowers were the superior spring flower.
Overall, our students will be having a very busy and fun spring break.
