Since employers prefer to hire students who have participated in experiential learning, particularly internships - Internship & Experiential Learning Opportunities (IELOPs) Week was born.  IELOPs Week was created to help prepare students for different kinds of experiential learning and is hosted every Fall (September) & Spring (February).  IELOPs Week, along with stand-alone workshops throughout each semester, provides HACC students the opportunity to gain valuable guidance and support on how to make the most out of each experience.  A series of workshops are offered covering a diverse range of topics.  Encourage your students to attend; students can register by emailing CareerServices@hacc.edu and stating which workshop(s) they want to attend.

The Internship Fair (held virtually during the Pandemic) welcomes organizations hosting interns.  Students are educated about the organization’s mission and specific internship offerings.  Students have the chance to participate in FAQ sessions, interview at that time or apply after the information sessions.
