We lost Dr. Doreen Fisher-Bammer, a beloved member of the HACC community, in December 2021. Please contribute to the HACC Foundation, with the goal of establishing a scholarship fund in Doreen’s memory:

Thanks to the compassionate supporters who donated to the HACC Foundation in 2021, HACC students will have life-changing opportunities to make a better future.
We are also grateful to those who made generous donations to HACC through the Adams County Community Foundation Giving Spree, Lancaster County Community Foundation Extraordinary Give and #GivingTuesday.
THANK YOU!
“I’m so very excited to spend my next two years as a HACC student… I get to be a part of an amazing community. Thank you so much for making my dreams possible, one day I hope to do the same for others and be able to give back. Your compassion and kind hearts are very much appreciated.” - Jessica, HACC Student
In the year ahead, we will continue our focus on the greatest areas of need for our students and community through these life-changing projects.
Do you know the average age of a HACC credit student? What percentage of HACC grads stay within a 25-mile radius of their home campus? How much have tuition and expenses increased in the last 10 years?
The answers to these questions and more can be found in the collegewide HACC By the Numbers document available on myHACC.
HACC By the Numbers is a tool used to provide interesting and impactful data and facts about the College. The document can be shared with current and potential students, donors, vendors and members of the community to provide a quick overview of statistics about HACC and our students.
Please review the document to learn more about YOUR favorite community college.
HACC alumnus and Bucknell Community College Scholar Victor Svistunov said that when he was younger, he used to doubt himself and his success. “I had the fear of the unknown and my mindset was constantly changing,” he said. Gradually, that mindset changed and Victor realized that “I can achieve anything I set my mind to.”
He completed a degree from HACC in pre-health professions with the goal of becoming a cardiologist and scientist. To read more of Victor’s story, please visit our website.
If there is a weather announcement regarding campus closures, it will only affect employees and students involved in on-campus classes and services. All other remote work, remote instruction and virtual learning courses will continue as scheduled.
Please see the “Weather Announcement Process During COVID-19” menu on hacc.edu/Weather for more information and our communication methods for notifications.
Margaret has first-hand experience in the value of an online education. She has a full-time job and has to be able to schedule classes around her life – not the other way around.
“The virtual learning options available are invaluable,” she said. “You are able to have flexible hours and work at your own pace. It is a great option for students who still need to work or who might be parents.”

Effective May 23, 2022, HACC’s campuses and buildings will be open for all during the summer 2022 semester!
Although we are fully opening our campuses:
We realize that not all of our students will want to come back on campus. Therefore, we will continue to offer a variety of course instruction offerings. Providing these options is a move toward the future of higher education, not just a response to the pandemic. Our students desire a variety of choices, and we must remain flexible to pivot to address their needs.
We know that the virus has not gone away. There are new variants, which means that we must continue taking necessary precautions. Please visit hacc.edu/COVIDannouncements for specific details regarding our face covering requirements and cleaning procedures.
As always, YOUR safety is our top priority. Although we cannot control COVID-19 and how it spreads or guarantee safety from it, we will continue to do our part to help maintain student, employee and building safety by following protocols, as per the governor’s orders and CDC recommendations.
Please visit hacc.edu/COVIDannouncements for more details and note that this information is tentative and subject to change.
