A. You can apply for this program. There are no nationality requirements, and students are eligible to apply.
However, international students receiving support from the Japanese Government Scholarship Program and international students receiving scholarships or other support from their home governments are not eligible for this program.
In addition, since the program is administered under the auspices of the Japanese government, students eligible for support must have the will and ability to be directly involved in the creation of science, technology, and innovation in Japan after completion of the program.
Since some of the seminars will be conducted in Japanese, students are expected to have a level of Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N2.
A. There are no restrictions under this program.
However, persons who are deemed to have a stable income, such as salaries and executive compensation totaling more than 2.4 million yen per year, may not apply.
