This is my fifteenth year teaching at LCHS. Previous to LCHS, I taught at Riverview Middle School in Devon, Alberta for eight years. I began my teaching career in 2000 at North Kansas City High School and then taught at Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 2001/2002.
I currently teach Social Studies 30-1 and 10-1, Social Studies 30-2 and Social Studies 10-2. I am also the head coach of the varsity basketball team, teacher liaison for the Leduc Central Interact Club (currently on hiatus) and the coordinator for the LCHS Social Studies Lecture Series (also currently on hiatus). I graduated from NW Missouri State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Education Social Science. I transferred to NW Missouri State on a baseball scholarship from the University of Lethbridge where I studied secondary education/political science and played at Prairie Baseball Academy. I recently obtained my Master's Degree from Queen's University with a concentration in Indigenous Education.
My wife of 20 years is a music teacher in Black Gold School Division. My brother is also a teacher in Black Gold School Division, and my mother was an Education Assistant. And lastly, my two sons attend schools in Black Gold School Division and one graduated in 2024.
