Essential Information for Seniors
Woodmont’s Graduation will be on Wednesday, May 21st at 2:30 at Bon Secours! Students will be allotted a certain number of tickets (in the past, it has been 10 per student), but that number comes from the district and has not been released.
Grad Supplies: Students must purchase graduation supplies, which include a cap, gown, tassel, and diploma cover. Use the following link to purchase your package ASAP before prices increase! https://bit.ly/WHScapandgown - scroll all the way to the bottom for only the required items.

Senior Class Dues: Dues cover cost of graduation @ Bon Secours and additional expenses related to graduation! Pay on MySchoolBucks. The date for Prom is TBD. All debt must be paid to purchase a prom ticket. All debt must be paid to walk at graduation.

MLK Day Unity Scholarship
The MLK Unity Scholarships are now open! This is your chance to receive free financial support for your education. The application deadline is December 9, 2024 and all applications must be postmarked by that date.
Please to apply to these scholarships! Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements for a particular scholarship before you apply. All entries will be evaluated on transcripts, letters of recommendation, autobiographical statement, GPA, financial need, leadership, and community service.

Seniors only need to purchase the "Cap & Gown Unit". The current price is $64.95 and it will increase as we get closer to May!

Graduation Attire Guidelines
For Girls:
Dresses should not extend beyond the length of the gown.
Comfortable dress or casual shoes
Athletic shoes are not permitted.
For Boys:
A white collared dress shirt paired with a necktie or bow tie
Casual or dress slacks in Navy, Black, or Khaki are appropriate.
Dress or casual shoes

Additional Notes:
Jeans are not permitted.
Decorative caps are also not allowed.

Planning to visit a college?
Please complete this form by having your teachers and your college admissions representative sign. Be sure to turn it into Attendance to have the visit excused. Limit of 2 day visits excused per semester.
We expect the '25-'26 FAFSA to open December 1st
Be sure to read the article, "Common Problems with the New FAFSA", before getting started. It has some great tips for getting it completed quickly. FAFSA will send you the SAI (Student Aid Index) which is the basis for your financial aid package from colleges.
Remember, you'll be attending college in the Fall of 2025. You will want the '25-'26 FAFSA form. Don't get confused!

Attendance
It is possible to fail a class due to attendance
Missing too many classes will mean you need to serve Seat Time Recovery. You cannot serve Seat Time after you graduate.
Seat Time Recovery sessions only available on certain days and times for a fee
