Tuesday, March 24th: Course Request Letters due back to School Counselors. Please write any changes you would like to make directly on the paper. Fill out the Parent Override Form on the back if you need to!
Think of the course request letter as your wishlist. Not every class in your primary list will work out. That's why you have the alternate list of courses below. We want you to focus on making sure your classes for next year are the correct level and match your interests/graduation requirements.
Any (but not all) of the courses on this paper can appear on your schedule!
Michelin’s Advanced Manufacturing Youth Apprenticeship at the PRIME facility is back for rising seniors interested in advanced manufacturing! Students will gain hands-on experience, earn competitive pay, and build a pathway to a full-time career, starting in Summer 2026.
Quick Facts:
Apply: March 6 – April 6
Who: Current Juniors
Pay: Starts at $13/hr, increases to $14/hr
Flexible schedule: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and up to 30 hours/week during the summer. Please note there is no weekend work.
Shift details: Arrival times vary based on the student's school schedule; all shifts end at 7:00 PM on weekdays.
No experience needed: A great entry point into advanced manufacturing.
Pathway to full-time employment: Opportunity to transition to a full-time role at $22+/hr with benefits.

The Deadline to Apply (with resume): Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
Application Platform: Students should apply directly by going to www.launchgvl.org and then clicking positions. They can apply by clicking on the position(s) of choice. They can choose up to 4, ranking them in order of preference to try to have a chance at an interview of interest.

Advising and Registration Meetings will be April 15th and 16th. Students must have already completed enrollment with Greenville Tech's Early College program in order to sign up.

Please note: To qualify for dual enrollment, you must have a 3.0 UNWEIGHTED GPA and an 80 or better in your previous two English and Math classes. Ideally, those previous two math and english classes were at the honors level.
Remember, there is no charge to eat school breakfast and school lunch. If your students are in need of extra food, we do have bags of canned goods and shelf stable snacks available. Just let their school counselor know! The bags are donated to us, so the contents of the bags vary.

Woodmont Works is a school based business run by Woodmont students. We make Wildcat spirit apparel and other items with vinyl, embroidery and sublimation. With your support, students receive training in a supported environment. Students practice leadership, responsibility, and group problem solving skills.
