Junior year is the year of starting to put your plans into place.
Get to know yourself. What is it you want to pursue as a career? What do you want to study? Think about your goals and values and what types of careers interest you.
Research careers you are interested in. What do those careers entail for training and/or education? Some jobs require work experience, technical certificates and degrees, a 2 year degree, some a 4 year degree, and some require a graduate degree.
Do you want to attend college after high school? If yes:
Research colleges
Visit colleges online or in person if possible.
Take standardized college entrance exams like the ACT or SAT. You can take these several times even into your senior year if necessary.
Narrow your list of potential colleges to 3-8 or a number that seems reasonable to you.
