Enrollment and Withdrawal Information

Remember, Woodmont High School is not open on Fridays during the summer months.

Enrollment for New Students

Enrollment for students new to Woodmont High School should be completed online via our Parent Backpack system. Please upload all required documentation in order to complete your student’s registration. If you are unable to complete the enrollment through Backpack for Parents, you may pick up a paper enrollment packet from the Front Office.

After completion of the online enrollment process, a counselor will call you to discuss your child’s schedule and answer any questions you may have. Due to the influx of new student enrollments, please allow some time for this process to be completed.  If you have any questions prior to being contacted by a counselor, please call 864-355-8619.

Make Sure You Have These Items:

If you have any legal documentation involving custody or residency, you may need to complete additional steps. The Registrar will let you know!

Moving Out of District

During the summer, parents must come in and sign appropriate paperwork to withdraw their student. If a student is moving and will be attending another school outside of Greenville County, parents should request the new school to fax an official records request form on school letterhead to 864-355-8697. Records will be forwarded to the student’s new school upon receipt of the official records request form.

Moving Within District

During the summer, parents are not required to come in to withdraw their student. If a student is moving and will be attending another school within Greenville County, parents should request the new school to fax an official records request form on school letterhead to 864-355-8697. The student will be “No Showed” so the receiving school may electronically enroll the student. Records will be forwarded to the student’s new school upon receipt of the official records request form. Please plan accordingly based on the Guidance Department’s summer hours.

Notice before withdrawing to attend non-public school:

Before withdrawing a student to attend a private/homeschool co-op it is HIGHLY recommended to check the accreditation on the possible enrolling institute. If your student returns to Greenville County schools from non-accredited (e.g., non-AdvancED) institution (home-school, private school, international school, out-of-state school, etc.), he/she must demonstrate proficiency in the credit bearing courses they are transferring in for HS credit. If a school is unsure whether the institution is accredited, they can use the accreditation agency list and Lookup to determine whether they are accredited.
