Freshman Year Checklist/Timeline:

Fall (August - December)

• Freshman Orientation

• Focus on getting off to a good start academically. 

• Counselor IGP meetings with 9th graders.

• Develop effective study skills and utilize test-taking tips.

• Become involved in extracurricular activities, such as clubs and sports, and/or volunteer activities in the community.

• 1st semester ends: Remember, all grades count! Everything goes on your transcript and is counted into your GPA!

Spring Semester (January - June)

• Tour & Apply to special programs: CTE Innovation Center, Donaldson Career Center, Fine Arts Center.

• Be on the lookout for Bridges to a Brighter Future information.

• May: AP testing
