On Wednesday April 9th, nearly 40 teachers and aspiring teachers from Greenville County Schools travelled to Columbia to observe the legislative process in action and visit with members of our Greenville County Delegation. The group included:

• Our Future Teachers Academy Leadership Board

• The 4th cohort of Public Education Partners' Teacher Fellows initiative, a six-month fellowship to learn about the K-12 policy ecosystem at the local and state level, which seeks to improve participants' understanding and ability to effectively advocate for their profession and students.

• Members of the GCS Teacher Forum, comprising Teachers of the Year from each of Greenville's schools and centers.
