FTA Leadership

The FTA Leadership board is comprised of two future teacher leaders elected from their individual schools to receive the Heart of a Teacher Award. Working in conjunction with Public Education Partners, the purpose of the leadership board is to:

Prepare future teacher leaders with deeper insights into the profession
Provide opportunities for peer collaboration and personal growth
Promote the profession in a positive light

These future educators participate in professional development workshops throughout the year. They share what they learn with their peers and advocate for the teaching profession.
