Sherri Ransbottom, 6th grade Counselor
This is my first year at Beck and my 24th year as a school counselor. I am from Huntington, WV, graduated from Marshall University with both bachelors and masters degrees in Secondary School Counseling. I have lived in Greenville for 6 years with my daughter, whose a junior at Furman University and my precious Bichon Frise, Sparkles! In my spare time, I love walking, spending time with my daughter, Sparkles, friends and family. I also enjoy crafting, diy projects, bible journaling and trying new recipes.

Katie Bailey, 7th Grade Counselor
My name is Katie Bailey and I am thrilled to be at Beck Academy for my third year as the full time 7th grade counselor. I have lived in Greenville my entire life and attended Greenville County Schools. I am a huge fan of the University of Georgia and often spend my Saturdays in Athens during football season. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places in Greenville.

Marci Silver, 8th grade Counselor
This is my first year at Beck and my 9th year in education. I am born and raised in Upstate New York on the Canadian border. I graduated from Le Moyne College in New York where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I then attended Springfield College in Massachusetts where I earned my Masters of Education in School Counseling. For fun, I enjoy working out, playing pickleball, traveling, and being an awesome dog and cat mom.

Julie Moody, School Counselor and On Track Coordinator
This is my first year as a school counselor and I am excited to be at Beck! I have lived in Greenville the past 5 years. I moved here from the Chicago area with my husband, 3 children and two dogs. I love spending time outdoors, watching anything sports (especially soccer and football), and traveling.

Maggie Shields, LMSW, School Based Mental Health Counselor
This is my 3rd year at Beck Academy as the School Based Mental Health Therapist. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work. My fiancé and I moved to Greenville in 2021. In my free time, I enjoy exploring outdoors, spending time with my dog (Baker), visiting family, and finding new recipes to try.
