Below you will find all of the information for IGP conference.

An Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) is a flexible school document that students, parents/guardians, and school counselors create to help students focus on interests, abilities, and academic and career goals.  It guides students toward meeting high school graduation requirements as well as requirements to enter postsecondary education and training.

Students start this process in the 6th and 7th grade by completing career interest inventories and participating in various career activities. This culminates with students selecting a career cluster during their 8th grade year. By choosing a career cluster in the 8th grade, students will be better informed about choosing electives in high school that will better prepare them for their chosen career beyond graduation – on the job or in college.

Students and parents will be given a time to meet via phone with the counselor March 4th to the 13th to review all information.  Counselors will be meeting individually with students who's parents were not able to attend so that they may be able to receive all of the same information. The power point below is also available. Please note that all meetings must take place no matter what in order to register students for classes. Counselors can follow up after after March 13th to go over any meetings that parents were not part of. Students will be bringing class registration forms home prior to March 27th for parents to look over and approve. These must be back by April 10th.

We ask that you view the slide show below, prior to your student's meeting or at some point this year.
